Welcome to Galerie Chloe by Nancy Jones, maker of extraordinary art featuring cats (somebody said it!). I love animals but especially cats! I draw them and care for many in my home. I care deeply about animal welfare and love to meet other people that share love for animals.

I have always loved cats. When I was two, a orange fluffy kitten showed up under our porch. I was able to get her and would not let her go. Katy lived to be l7, having kittens every chance she could (back in the 50's and 60's, spay/neuter was not what it is today). When I was in college, a friend brought a day old kitten found in a window well in a storm and my mom and I raised him until his sad downfall and death, ironically after his neuter. Turns out he had leukemia. I drew my first cat drawing, inspired by Scrapper, portraying his arrival in Heaven, somewhat bewildered, in a peaceful garden. I have been drawing cats exclusively every since.

Please read descriptions for measurements, materials, and details about what I make. Except for the t-shirts, I have a hand in making the products. I print the pictures and cut them to fit in the magnets and keychains. I create the fabric pockets that are then sewn onto a ready-made tote bag. I glue the printed images onto cardstock for the notecards. I try to let you know if a color is not appearing on screen as I see it. I feel these are as perfect as I can make them and I am proud of them. I hope to offer framed small portraits in the future.
