In 2005 I took a chance on leaving my job as an electrician to start my own business. With help from my local Small Business Administration and after a lot of my own research, I decided to open a car wash and Automotive Detail Shop in Marcy New York. As a courtesy to my new customers, I would clean their tires and wheels with a hand brush. Years of repetitive work as an electrician had left me with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and the constant hand scrubbing was taking its toll. I looked, but didn’t find a suitable tool to speed up the process. I experimented with different prototype brushes until getting the right combination of components to create the Drillbrush Power Scrubber®. Soon my customers were amazed with how well it worked and wanted to know where they could get one. Suddenly, I realized this could be the start of another spin off business and Drillbrush.com was launched in 2005. Since then, millions of drill brushes have been sold across the United States and across the globe.
