Item description
Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1930's animated Technicolor short-subject, HAPPY TOTS, released by Columbia Pictures in 1939. The image features great full-color artwork of the main characters, some of which resemble characters such as Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd and others. This one-sheet was printed for the film's 1949 US theatrical re-release, also by Columbia Pictures. Unrestored and folded as originally, it is in fair+ to good- condition only with creases and small tears on the borders (the paper is folded back on the top left panel, so there is no paper loss there as it may appear in the photos); separation at various portions of the foldlines where they start at the outer edges; significant separation along the bottom horizontal foldline and the center vertical foldline; and a few pinholes in each corner. The rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
This poster will make a great candidate for linen-backing, as it is "all there," and looks really nice in person as-is.
