Terry Gilliam's TIME BANDITS (1981) and 50 similar items

Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's time-traveling sci-fi adventure fantasy, TIME BANDITS, released in 1981 by Avco Embassy Pictures and directed by Terry Gilliam. A young boy's wardrobe contains a time hole. Through this hole an assortment of dwarfs come while escaping from their master, the Supreme Being (Sir Ralph Richardson). They take Kevin (Craig Warnock) with them on their adventures through time from Napoleonic times to the Middle Ages to the early 1900's, to the time of Legends and the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness where they confront Evil Genius (David Warner). Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws. The whole notion of casting a movie with dwarves came from writer, producer, and director Terry Gilliam's memories of growing up in the San Fernando Valley, where a circus used to roll into town each year, and local kids would find odd jobs with them.
