Item description
Vintage original 27x40 in. US one-sheet poster from the highly acclaimed Hollywood-themed documentary, MARLENE, released in 1984 by Alive Films. Directed by Maximilian Schell, this retrospective is on the career of enigmatic screen diva, Marlene Dietrich.
The stylized artwork was designed by Michaele Vollbracht and depicts a medium black-and-white image of Marlene Dietrich wearing her trademark tails and top hat as she holds a full-color mask of the "glamorous Marlene." Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
Marlene received an Academy Award nomination for "Best Documentary, Features" and was the won a Bavarian Film Award for "Best Production."
