Vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the classic 1980's action/adventure thriller, INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM, released in 1984 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Steven Spielberg. In this sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark (1979), in 1935, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) arrives in India, still part of the British Empire, and is asked to find a mystical stone. He then stumbles upon a secret cult committing enslavement and human sacrifices in the catacombs of an ancient palace. The cast includes Cate Capshaw, Ke Huy Quan, Amrish Puri, and Roshan Seth. The image features an interior shot of a very large dining table as Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) sits at the far right along with young Short Round (Ke Huy Quan) and Willie Scott (Cate Capshaw) seated on the other side as the guests await the next course with both apprehension as well as delight. It is unrestored in very fine condition with a 0.5 in. diagonal crease on the top left corner and light signs of wear on the bottom right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the colors are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. OF NOTE is that the lobby cards that were issued for this film come at the very end of the format, as lobby cards were discontinued for display in the US in the mid-1980's.
