Item description
? Up for sale: One rooted starter plant of red-flowered trumpet vine (Campsis tagliabuana 'Guilfoylei'). Plant is rooted in a small plastic container and will be sent with soil. From October through May the vine is dormant, and during dormancy plants are sent bare-root.
? This hardy vine grows in zones 4–10 and establishes quickly. Starter plants were 12–24 inches tall last year but are cut back to 4–6 inches in April to fit containers and encourage strong branching. Roots grow deeply, making for a vigorous start.
? Once established, this fast grower can reach 20–25 feet, though it can easily be trimmed to size. From mid-summer to fall it produces eye-catching clusters of trumpet-shaped salmon-red flowers that attract hummingbirds daily.
? This variety is more restrained and blooms longer than Campsis radicans, making it a garden favorite. Best planted in full sun with well-draining soil. Plant in the ground or a larger container upon arrival for best growth.
? Your order will arrive in good condition. If any issues occur upon receiving order, contact us the same day with a detailed description and photos so we can assist you.
