Item description
Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy candid photograph of motion picture actress CLAUDETTE COLBERT AND HUSBAND DR. JOEL PRESSMAN. Taken on the event of the couple's 20th wedding anniversary, they are seated at a table as a well-wisher extends his hand in congratulations while a waiter pauses for the photo to be taken. Included is the original paper snipe (that was stapled to the bottom border and measures 4.75 x 8 in.) from King Features Syndicate which describes the image.
The photograph is in fine condition with random signs of wear in the borders; two sets of staple holes in the bottom border. The snipe has a pencil mark on it, the letter "C" handwritten in the top left corner, and two sets of staple holes.
